Our Work Placement programs are designed to inspire secondary students by providing them the opportunity to participate in hands on roles. We offer Work Placement opportunities in our quarries, concrete, materials testing, automotive, fabrication and engineering areas as well as within our civil construction operations.

Strategic Partnerships to support the next generation of talent

Our Work Placement programs are primarily managed by our Learning and Development team in partnership with:

• Build Up Tassie’s Civil Pre Employment Program  providing overall program support and work placement opportunities. 

• Beacon Foundation offer us a direct connection with state school students right across Tasmania. In turn, Hazell Bros supports with activities such as site tours, attending school-based information programs as well as hosting work experience and work placement students at our sites.
