Workshops

Since the early days, workshops have been an integral part of Hazell Bros operations maintaining and ensuring that our own equipment and fleet is maintained in top operating condition.

The maintenance capacity now extends over a wide range of activities to support the fleet of light vehicles, trucks and earthmoving equipment operated by the company. Over the years the scope of services has grown to include some of Tasmania’s largest vehicle fleets.

Hazell Bros operates workshops in Derwent Park, Launceston and Burnie. Our capabilities include:

FIELD SERVICE

  • Five Hobart-based field service trucks, including two welding truck and one hose fabrication truck
  • Two Burnie-based field service trucks
  • Two Launceston-based field service trucks

HEAVY PLANT AND EQUIPMENT

  • Mechanical repairs
  • Truck servicing, all types of repairs including wheel alignments
  • Available in Hobart, Burnie, Launceston

LIGHT VEHICLES

  • Servicing and scheduled maintenance repairs
  • Ability to service and maintain warranty
  • Available in Hobart, Burnie, Launceston

AUTO ELECTRICS

  • Air conditioning for all vehicle types
  • Workshop or mobile
  • Available in Hobart, Burnie, Launceston

MACHINE SHOP

  • Line boring/ fabrication of pins and bushes, any specialised machining work
  • Fabrication of hydraulic cylinders
  • In-field line boring available state-wide

BODY WORKS

  • Two low-bake ovens for all vehicle types, light & heavy, re sprays and fibreglass repairs

WELDING

  • Welding repairs and fabrication of any steel or aluminium
  •  Fabrication of specialised items
  •  New trays fabricated relining of trays and fabrication of chassis
  •  Two mobile welding trucks available state-wide
