The Hazell Bros project delivery team have recently mobilised to Wide Bay region, ready to dig in and commence work on a nearly 12 month contract, and one of the largest Hazell Bros will have completed for DTMR.

The project is the for the realignment of Scrub Hill Road and Wide Bay Drive creating a cross road configuration with traffic signals and additional turning lanes which will improve vehicle safety when turning from and into Scrub Hill Road and Wide Bay Drive. The intersection upgrade will improve operational efficiency for increasing traffic volumes on Pialba-Burrum Heads Road, and provide safety for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.

The site is expected to receive a high level of traffic, particularly with regards to school hours traffic with two schools located adjacent to the project. Clear and consistent communication with the schools and the local community will be a key element in ensuring that the public perception of this project remains upbeat.

The project is another exiting addition to the numerous projects commencing in 2018 for our Queensland Team.
