With competition starting today for The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Hazell Bros are excited to have played a part in the success.

Across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, 23 park ‘n’ ride and transit facilities have been developed for the influx of more than one million spectators over the course of the Games. Hazell Bros is proud to have had the opportunity to work together with the Queensland Government to prepare the facilities and to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees and athletes. The contract also included making the Carrara Stadium ‘Opening Ceremony’ ready.

After the Games conclude, Hazell Bros will also be completing post-Games work including the restoration of sites to their pre-Games conditions. The works that will remain are an investment in redeveloping Gold Coast transport delivery infrastructure, and will have lasting benefits for local communities eg. the construction of driveways, entryways and access paths to name a few.

Goodluck to all the athletes competing!
